Mission Statement
The mission of the Student Health Care Center is to support the University of Florida's mission in becoming a national leader in research, education and service. The Student Health Care Center leads, collaborates and excels in the provision of comprehensive physical and mental health services through wellness promotion and compassionate and accessible care.
Advanced Access
The SHCC operates using an advanced access appointment system that provides same day appointments to students. As a result, waiting times have decreased substantially and patient satisfaction has increased. In order for this type of system to function it is recommended that the student phone first and get an appointment for the same day. This will eliminate unnecessary waiting.
