Contraceptive Options Counseling
Students can meet with a health promotion specialist to discuss contraceptive options. To see which are available at the SHCC, review the Contraceptive Options Comparison Chart.
Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) Counseling
Student can also meet with a health promotion specialist regarding questions about STIs. They will be referred to medical teams for actual testing, as needed. Confidential rapid HIV testing is available for a nominal fee through your medical team provider(s). Free Condoms, Lubricants & Dental Dams
Free condoms, lubricant & dental dams are available at any GatorWell location, including the health hut. Bulk quantities are also available upon request.
Emergency Contraception (EC)
EC prescription is available for a reasonable price through the Student Health Care Center. EC is even available outside of our normal operating hours. Just call the Student Health Care Center 352-392-1161, and someone will assist you.
