Team B

Dr. Simms received her undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and her M.D. from the University of Florida. She completed her residency at the University of Florida and is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Ms. Simms is also a faculty member in the OB/GYN Department at UF and serves as a consultant to the SHCC two half days each week. Her areas of specialty include pediatric/adolescent gynecology, menstrual disorders, pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction.

Phylis Craig, ARNP

Ms. Craig received her undergraduate degree in Nursing from Florida State University (don't worry she's a Gator now) and her graduate degree Masters in Nursing with Specialty in Nurse Midwifery from Columbia University in New York. She practiced as a Certified Nurse Midwife prior to starting at UF Women's Clinic in 1983. Ms. Craig also has special training and recognition in Colposcopy and a clinical interest in chronic vaginitis. She is very proud of the SHCC's Women's Clinic, which provides complete contraceptive services offering all FDA approved contraceptive choices. Ms. Craig is also involved in clinical research through Community Health and Family Medicine.

Jackie Davis, ARNP

Ms. Davis received both her undergraduate degree in Nursing, and her Masters in Nursing (specialty area of Midwifery) here at UF (Go Gators!). She worked as a nurse midwife at a hospital based practice until 2002, when she joined the Women's Health Team here at SHCC. She is also certified in colposcopy, and speaks Spanish. Ms.Davis enjoys working at SHCC, where she feels she can help empower women in their choices regarding their sexuality.

Susan Ryals, ARNP
Ms. Ryals is excited to be back working with women at UF where she graduated from the college of nursing in the 70's. She lived in Broward Hal l (4th floor, women only dorm) during panty raids from the men's dorms, curfews, a real live albert alligator mascot, beating Georgia was great and the infirmary hospital (her room is where the hopital beds were). Her goal as a nursepractitioner is to assist students to get the most out of college life by remaining healthy and planning for a long term healthy lifestyle.
Go Gators!
Krin Cosner, ARNP

Ms. Cosner received her BA in 1973 from SUNY at Stony Brook, NY in social sciences and a BSN from UF in 1983 and a MSN with a specialty in nurse-midwifery in 1988 from the University of Florida. She practiced as a nurse-midwife in Ocala, Florida until 1996 when she went to Honduras to work in women's health for a year. She continues her travels and to dream about practicing women's health abroad. In the meantime, she loves the women's clinic and the students she cares for and is often provoked to pursue projects and further her expertise. She is trained in colposcopy and currently working on certification.

Pam Taylor, ARNP

Ms. Taylor received her A.S./R.N. degree from SFCC/Gainesville in 1981 and did Public Health Nursing in Alachua County, before being sponsored to attend Emory University Regional Training Program in 1988 to receive a Nurse Practitioner certification in Ob/Gyn.
