Phillip
Barkley, M.D.

|
Dr.
Barkley is the Director at the UF Student Health
Care Center and a Clinical Associate Professor
within the UF College of Medicine, Department of
Community Health and Family Medicine. He received
his BA in Psychology and MD from Southern Illinois
University. He served his residency in Internal
Medicine at Michigan State University. Dr. Barkley
directed the McKinley Health Center at the University
of Illinois, the Health Center at Bradley University
and was Chief Medical Officer at Virginia Tech
before coming to UF. He is a member of the American
College of Physician Executives and has served
as President of the American College Health Association.
He is board certified in internal medicine.

Mickey
Bath, PA-C

|
Mr.
Bath earned his AA in Liberal Arts at Hillsborough
Community College and a BS in Medicine at the University
of Florida Physician Assistant Program. Prior to his
formal training he served 6 years as a medic in the
U.S. Army Special Forces. He is certified by the National
Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Mr Bath has extensive experience in treating musculoskeletal
injuries.

Jay
Clugston, M.D.

|
Dr. Clugston is
a Clinical Assistant Professor within UF College
of Medicine, Department of Community Health and Family
Medicine. Dr. Clugston graduated from Davidson College
with a BS in Chemistry before earning his MS in Agroforestry
at UF. He went to medical school at the University
of Florida and served his residency in family medicine
at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Dr. Clugston then
completed a primary care sports medicine fellowship
at the South Bend Indiana Sports Medicine Institute
and the University of Notre Dame. He is board certified
in family practice and holds a certificate of added
qualification in sports medicine. Dr. Clugston runs
the sports
medicine clinic at SHCC and serves as a Team Physician for UF.

Tracy
Martin-DeSelm, M.D.

|
Dr. Martin-Deselm
earned her BA in Molecular Biology at Vanderbilt
University and her MD at Emory University. She completed
her residency in Emergency Medicine at Carolinas
Medical Center in Charlotte. She is board certified
in emergency medicine.

Doug
McDonald, M.D.

|
Dr. McDonald is
a UF Team Physician and Clinical Assistant Professor
as a Primary Care Sports Medicine Physician in the
Department of Orthopedics. After three years at the
U.S. Coast Guard Academy, he earned his BS in Biological
Sciences and completed the MS program in Exercise
and Sports Science at Colorado State University.
He earned his MD at the University of Colorado and
completed his residency in Family Practice there
before completing a fellowship in Primary Care Sports
Medicine at Michigan State University. He is board
certified in Family Practice and has a Certificate
of added qualifications in Sports Medicine. He practiced
in Wisconsin for five years before joining UF to work at Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Institute, SHCC,
and as a Team Physician for each of the Gators athletic
teams.

Candice
Rogers, PA-C

Ms.
Rogers earned her B.A. in English Literature from
the University
of Florida and a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies
from the UF College of Medicine. She is certified
by the National Commission on Certification of Physician
Assistants. Her special interests include women’s
health.
