Alicia
Maun, M.D.

Dr.
Maun earned her medical degree from the Far Eastern
University Institute of Medicine in Manila, Philippines.
She completed her internship and residency from St.
Elizabeth Hospital in New Jersey and the Jewish Hospital
in Brooklyn, New York. She is board certified in Family
Practice and is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor
with the University of Florida Department of Community
Health and Family Medicine. Dr. Maun serves as the
Continuing Medical Education (CME) Coordinator for
the SHCC Clinical Staff. She has been a member of the
Medical Staff since 1977 and has previously served
as Associate Director and Interim Medical Director.
Dr. Maun has special interests in patients' spiritual
health and nutrition.

Liz
Wright, PA-C

Ms.
Wright earned a BS in Physical Education/Kinesiology
at the University of Maryland. She then earned a Masters
of Medical Sciences with a Physician Assistant Certificate
from Emory University. She worked at American University
prior to coming to UF. She is certified by the National
Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
She enjoys student health especially at the college
level.

Julie
Anne Ferguson Demers, PA-C, MS

Mrs.
Demers earned a BA in English/Creative Writing at
Florida State University and a MS in Botany from
the University of Florida. She then earned a Master
of Physician Assistant Studies degree, also at UF.
She has a special interest in musculoskeletal medicine
and student health.

Tami
Thomas, ARNP

|
Ms.
Thomas earned her Master's Degree from the University
of Florida and is currently a doctoral student on
campus. She functions in a dual role. Tami is a nurse
practitioner and also functions as a research coordinator
for Project Fitness through the Univeristy of Florida
- Addictive and Health Behaviors Resaerch Insititue.
